Another class pet….

BUTTERFINGER

BUTTERFINGER WAS DONATED TO OUR CLASS BY A TRANSFER STUDENT WHO MOVED OUT OF STATE.  THE PAINTED TURTLE WAS ALREADY NAMED BY THE STUDENT BECAUSE OF ITS COLORING.  BUTTERFINGER ENJOYS SWIMMING IN THE WATER AND DIVING OFF THE LOG.  BUTTERFINGER ALSO ENJOYS WHEN THE STUDENTS TAKE HER OUT OF HER AQUARIUM AND LET HER EXPLORE THE CLASSROOM.  BUTTERFINGER EATS TURTLE PELLETS.

Butterfinger climbing her log.  She enjoys climbing and diving.

Butterfinger is basking in the heat light!  :-)

Instant Challenges….

Instant Challenges:

How does that work Tristan and Drew?

with licorice, marshmallows and toothpicks...

Mason working on putting his sample together.

Brayden is making sure
that everything is lined up
just right.

Surprise Jaedon!

Belle and Kaya label and line everything up just right.

Now to twist it.

Let's do the TWIST!

Nice sample of DNA AND nice smile Lexi!
Gotcha!

 Collecting samples from the parks

proved to be an interesting journey...

What do you have in your container Sandra?
What do you see down there Landon?

The gang is all here!  Time to go already?

Oh my!

What did she get Andrea?

Not exactly what we were looking for but fun to explore.

What did you find Travis?

Really Tyler?

This is right up Colton's alley.

Exploring for water samples turned out to be quite an adventure for some.

These students know how to investigate.  Those curious souls.
